Science Circuit Board

These two pictures here are the front and back of my circuit board that I made in class. How it works is the electricity or the real term is electrons that runs through the wire at the back connecting to the paper fasteners which is also a metal source which is a conductor. So when we have the wires that are connected to batteries, the battery, being a voltage source, could fire up electricity and electrons. When the stripped end of the wire hits the paper fastener of the question and answer, the wire connecting them at the back will run the electrons to the paper faster next to the question's corresponding answer, then the other wire connecting the light bulb, then the bulb turns on. The bulb will light up when you have the wires on correct paper fasteners it will make a complete circuit and light up the light bulb. It makes a current complete circuit

March 11, 2015 Concert Reflection

What is expected of me as a performer:  

1. What do I need to do leading up to the performance in terms of my own practicing?  

Well I should always put in at least a few more minutes of practice time before a concert so I can really get everything right for a good performance.

2. What is my responsibility on stage during a performance?

Well many things, not talk or goof around, pay very close attention, have proper posture, and play as nicely as I can play. And if somebody starts to goof around tell them to stop.

3. What will I do differently in preparing for the next concert?

Next concert something different that I will do for preparing is probably practice a bit more if there are still things in the song I haven’t exceeded.

What is expected of me as an audience member:

1. What do I need to be doing while someone is performing?

Listening to the performer and not talking to friends because it is rude. As well as, maybe even if your friend is talking I can tell them to stop.

2. What do I need to do after someone has performed?

Clap for them and congratulate them, as well as still don’t talk.

3. What should I do if people around me are not being good audience members?

Whisper to them them to be quiet and listen or to stop whatever they were doing. But if they don’t stop get and adult to talk to them.

4. What will I do differently as an audience member for next concert?

Next concert something that I will do differently as an audience member is make my friends talk less and probably even a bit of myself.

I am most proud of…

Being able to perform really well without messing up a lot. As well as,  having a fantastic, successful first concert!

Science Aquatic Protists

The protist that you see in the video here is a Tubiflex worm. A multicellular worm that is mainly found in ponds. Tubiflex worms move through the water by franticly moving in "S" curves. Which not only helps for transportation, but also eating. Some interesting facts about this multicellular is that it also carries around tape worm.






The protist that you see in the video here is a     Daphnia Pulex, a multicellular organism. It is found in water bases. The Daphnia Pulex can't do with stong currents for their small legs and antennas used to help them swim. So small pools mainly do for them. Daphnia have a diet of bacteria, fine detritus, and small algae particles.The daphnia pulex was the first crustacean to have its genome sequenced.
