 1. Where are the oldest parts of the oceans?
The oldest parts of the oceans are the rocks and sands at the very bottom of the ocean because before there might have been the ocean water, there were always rocks built into the ground.


 2.  Do the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, and Arctic ocean basins have the same age and patterns?
No, because each of the oceans were probably there years before the other oceans, but people don't know it. They definitely do not have the same patterns because each ocean has a different structure, currents, wind patterns change, etc.  

3. How does the age of the ocean floor compare with the age of rocks on the continents?
They could possibly be the same age because the rocks for the continents have always been there underneath the continents supporting it, and the ocean floor must have always been there because it is not like the people just placed rocks and sand at the ocean floor. Both of these items have excited forever and are a part of our natural earth, so I believe they are the same age.
