1. We use captioning and labels to help the reader know what the setting is and what is happening to the rainforest to create palm oil to send to other countries. We think that it is effective because this way the readers won’t be confused with what is happening in the four different pictures.
2. By using exaggeration, we are magnifying the problem of destroying the animals who live in the forest and their home. Another problem is that from the burning of the trees we are making our air quality really bad and that can be bad for human’s health. This is effective because we can magnify the problem that is being caused by globalization. Palm oil has to be sent to other countries because it is made in every packaged food, we are destroying the homes of animals who live in the forest and we are making the air quality really unhealthy for the humans.

People are burning down animals habitats and forests to create into palm tree plantations so they can burn down the palm trees to get oil. When the people burn down the palm trees, they take the trees into a factory to produce basically all lotions, foods, body care products, etc. to ship out and get money. So when they burn down the trees they are affecting people's health from the haze, they take away animals homes just to produce world wide known products for money.

Globalization has transformed our world. Cultural/social globalization effects us because we get to experience new things, foods, styles of clothing, etc. But, without globalization most of the things we eat, wear, and use on a daily basis we wouldn't have, since cotton comes from around the world to make clothes, spices and meats aren't created in Singapore, etc. Secondly, technological/environmental globalization has affected our world because people are cutting and burning down our forests to build factories, international hotels, plantations,etc. to create produce to spread worldwide. Lastly, political/economic globalization has affected our world because now our countries have so many nationalities, cultures, and languages that brings us together to develop our nations and learn to create new things off of each other.
