Glory

I don't believe that the movie Glory should be continued to be shown to 8th grade classes during the Civil War unit. The reason why I believe this is because I found that the movie was more for entertainment purposes rather than being educational. Though it isn't supposed to be watched informatively, I do find that it didn't help give an insight to the Civil War and didn't share much information that could be helpfully provided. Even though the movie contained correct facts such as the segregation, the clothing, and Montgomery, the movie could have contained more facts related to the Civil War that could help start us up for the unit.
