Family

I love my family,

My family is true,

There's nothing wrong with the things they do,

We scream and shout,

We laugh and play,

We have fun all day,

But most of all...

I love my family and my family is true.

The Light
I see the light,
 Shining bright in my eyes,
it's blinding me,
like the sun in the sky.

Blue Shoes
Blue bad shoes,
gives you the blues,

the blues gives you,
big bad blue shoes,

blue shoes,
is a big bad blue.

Best Friend
A best friend is like when the world,
 turns around.

A best friend is as nice as a,
cow.

A best friend,
 makes you as happy,
 as eating your favourite food.

What Is That Smell        (french fries)
what is that I smell,
it smells salty and good!,
what is that smell coming from the cafeteria,
I think,
I think!

Concerns About the World

I am Endangered

I am Endangered
I am Endangered,
I run,
And search,
For safety,
For those who love me,
And those, in which I love,
For those who care,
For food,
For warmth,
For love,
For me,
Or someone like me,
Anyone who cares,
In a cruel world,
Of hunters,
And the hunted.
My dreams,
Show a world,
Of many,
 Like me,
The wish,
That I,
 And others like me,
Were safe,
And taken off the list,
For I am endangered now,
But maybe later,
There will be many,
To fight for,
Existence.

Goal 3: revise to add more details in my storys

what: revise my work to add more details in my storys.
 how: rereading my story and think if i need to add anything then go to a friend and make them read it then ask for advice.

 I have improve on this goal a lot. I have been going up to my friends and ask for them to read it then they gave me advice so I did it and now my story's have a lot more detail.

what: find more time to read at home how: by always keeping a book on my bed side table to remember to read every night but if i forget i put a sticky note on the book which says "read me!"

Goal 1: Check My Work For Accuracy in math

what: check for accuracy in my math how: by slowing dowm, rereading my work and resolving problems and putting a star next to the correct answer.

 I have been improving a bit with this goal in math but especially in my math tests to make sure my work is 1 hundred percent.

 I have still improved on this goal by when my teacher shows I got something wrong she shows me then I cross it out then put the star by the correct answer.

 I have semi-done this goal because I have been forgetting to do the star when I get a wrong answer. But I am doing a good job of this still and in my math.

character development

In the book the Laundry News Mr. Larson who is the teacher of Cara was a very lazy and not very caring teacher in the beginning of the book. For example, Mr. Larson always never gave them homework and never let them learn anything because he says " the best way to learn is for them to teach themselves" which I agree with because you always have to practice something by yourself but not like this! Also Mr. Larson, all he does is read a magazine and drink coffee and the only time he gets someones attention is when he hears a kid scream, hear a glass break, and when someone cries. The only way Mr.Larson teaches the kids is ripping off articles in his magazine and pin it on a bulletin board so the kids read it. After a while Cara made a newspaper called the Laundry News (based on her last name) with different articles and one cheeky article about Mr. Larson which made Mr. Larson really mad! Ever since the news paper happened Mr. Larson started to teach and gave them homework and assignments which was really weird for the class! but Cara was happy that Mr. Larson taught them which was all that she wanted.

Math message 4.3

0.3 0.15 0.3 is larger than 0.15 because the 3 in the first one is in the tents place which also means 30 hundredths and the fifteen in the second number it also means 1 tenth and 5 hundredths so 3 tenths is bigger than 1 hundredths and 15 hundredths if you add another 15 hundredths it will equal 30 hundredths.
